- In a large bowl, combine the sliced cabbages and scallions. Set aside.
- In a small bowl, add blue cheese dressing and stir in buttermilk, 1 Tbsp. at a time, until desired pourable consistency is reached. If not serving right away, the dressing and cabbage mix can be stored in the refrigerator separately until ready to serve.
- Add dressing mixture to cabbage mixture and toss to combine. Sprinkle with celery seed, salt and pepper and toss again.
- If desired, add blue cheese crumbles and stir gently to combine. Serve as a complement to grilled burgers, steaks or buffalo chicken.
