- Adjust oven rack to middle position and preheat to 375 degrees.
Gather and prepare your ingredients.
In a small bowl mix together oats, flour, sugar, and cinnamon so that all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Place the apples in an 8 by 8 inch roasting pan, cut side up then divide oat mixture between the apples. Place in the oven and cook until the oats are browned and the apples are soft, about 45 minutes. Serve hot with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
