Roasted Turkey and Plum Sauce

Makes 2 cups of plum sauce; serves 6
Cranberry sauce is synonymous with Thanksgiving, but why not update your turkey with this rich plum sauce?

Ingredients

Directions

  1. In a skillet, sauté shallots in butter until lightly browned.
  2. Add cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, apple juice, and brown sugar, stir.
  3. Add plums and simmer until soft and falling apart, about 20 minutes.
  4. Stir in the vinegar.
  5. Serve warm over slices of roasted turkey breast.
