- 1 gallon of cider
A warm cup of cider on a chilly day is so comforting and delicious. In this recipe, we’ve taken this classic drink and dialed up the heat a bit with the addition of cinnamon candy, as well as ground cinnamon and some other sweet ingredients. And since candy is a Valentine’s Day staple, that makes this Slow-Cooked Spicy Caramel Cider a wonderful choice to sip on after your holiday dinner with your special someone.
- Combine ingredients in a 4-quart slow cooker. Cook on low for 2-3 hours, stirring frequently in the first hour to prevent candy and caramel from sticking. Whisk or stir with a spoon before serving to incorporate any cinnamon fallen to the bottom. Garnish with cinnamon sticks and serve warm.
