Round steak with peppers and onions

Quick and inexpensive weeknight dinner.

Directions

  1. Season the round steak with salt and pepper. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a non stick skillet over medium high heat until shimmering. Sear the steak until browned then flip and continue to cook until it has reached desired doneness. Remove from skillet and let rest.
  2. Add remaining oil and onions and peppers to the pan and cook over high heat until soft, season with salt and pepper and serve over steak.
