Adding salmon to this classic sandwich gives its protein content and flavor a huge boost! The secret to this scrumptious sandwich is in the lemon mayo--easy to make, and absolutely delicious, it adds a zesty citrus element that will keep everyone coming back for another bite. A light salad or side of fries is all it takes to make this sandwich into a hearty supper or picnic lunch.


Select ingredients:


  1. Cook bacon slices in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towel-lined plates.
  2. Rub salt and pepper over salmon filets. Place salmon in skillet, and cook over medium heat until fully cooked, about 5 minutes per side.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, dijon mustard, remaining pinches of salt and pepper, and lemon juice.
  4. Assemble sandwiches by spreading 1/4 mayonnaise mixture onto one side of each roll, then top with 2 lettuce leaves, 1 tomato slice, salmon, and 2 bacon pieces.
