These breakfast grits are loaded with cheddar cheese, smoked turkey sausage, eggs and hot sauce for an extra kick to start the day.

Directions

  1. Bring water to a boil and add grits. Simmer for about 15 minutes. Add in cheese, salt, pepper, and a couple of dashes of hot sauce. Stir until cheese has melted.
  2. Add sliced turkey sausage to hot pan and cook until done.
  3. Add cheese grits to bowl and top with sliced sausage and fried egg.
