Who says pie isn't for breakfast? Make your family's morning with this easy maple flavored bacon breakfast pie. It'll become a Sunday morning favorite!

Select ingredients:

  1. Gather together the onions, cooked potatoes, and shredded cheese.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, the milk, the salt, and the pepper.
  3. Add in the potatoes, the cheese, and the onions.
  4. Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie pan.
  5. Pour the egg mixture into the pan and bake in a 350-degree oven for 40 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and carefully arrange the bacon in a lattice pattern over the top of the partially cooked pie. Use a small brush to apply some maple syrup to each bacon strip.
  7. Return to the oven and increase the temperature to 450 and continue to bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until it’s done. Keep an eye on the bacon. Be sure to bake it over a lined baking sheet, as it tends to drip a lot of grease.
