This classic dish is the perfect compliment to any chicken, pork or beef dish!
- Heat oven to 350 degrees. Layer 1/3 of potatoes and 1/2 of onion slices in greased 1 1/2 to 2-quart casserole dish.
- Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt and dash pepper; dot with 1 tablespoon butter
- Repeat layering, ending with potatoes, on top. Pour milk over potatoes, until barely covered.
- Bake uncovered at 350 degrees. For 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until tender. If desired, garnish with crumbled bacon.
