This seared salmon with pesto fettuccine is bound to impress and can be made with three ingredients in just 20 minutes.

- Boil water in a large saucepan. Add fettuccine and cook for about 9 minutes, or until just tender. Drain and transfer the fettuccine to a medium bowl. Toss with pesto.
- Meanwhile, sprinkle salt and pepper over the salmon. Heat oil in a medium cast-iron or nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Cook salmon, turning once, for about 2 to 4 minutes per side. Serve the salmon with the pasta.
