This taco is sure to please the meat-and-cheese lovers in your family! The tomatoes and parsley add a burst of fresh flavor to these hearty, beefy tacos!

Select ingredients:

  1. In a large saucepan, heat the butter and sauté the onions until softened. Add the brown sugar.
  2. Add the broth, the garlic powder, the smoked paprika, the apple cider vinegar, salt, pepper, and cumin. Mix and simmer, stirring regularly, for approximately 15 minutes until it's slightly reduced.
  3. Add the beef and continue heating for another 10 minutes or so over medium or medium-low; until the beef is thoroughly reheated. Stir regularly.
  4. In a skillet, melt the butter and whisk in the flour to make a paste.
  5. Slowly add the milk, whisking continuously, until it thickens (about 5 minutes or so).
  6. Remove from the heat and stir in the cheeses, salt, and pepper.
  7. Prepare your tortillas, then add your desired amount of meat and cheese; add fresh tomatoes or parsley if desired.
