Shrimp and Black Bean Nachos

Say goodbye to the same old nachos. Want to try a crowd favorite that is sure to be a hit on game day? These spicy shrimp and black bean nachos are filling and tasty. Plus, make an extra helping of these black beans to have with rice or as a side dish the next day.



  1. In a pan, sauté chopped onion, chopped garlic and chopped olives in olive oil. Add beans, hot sauce and soy sauce. Let simmer until hot and remove from heat.
  2. Chop the cooked shrimp into bite-size pieces and set aside.
  3. Preheat oven to broil. Arrange tortilla chips on a piece of tinfoil on a cookie sheet. Sprinkle a liberal amount of shredded cheese and broil till cheese is melted. Remove from oven.
  4. Top with black bean mixture, then shrimp and another sprinkling of cheese. Garnish with salsa and diced green onion and serve immediately.
