- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef, then add the onion. Cook, over medium, stirring fairly frequently, until the onions are soft.
- Stir in the Dr Pepper, the garlic powder, and the salt.
- Add the barbeque sauce and the honey, reduce the heat to low, and continue to cook for about 30 minutes more, until everything comes together and thickens. Stir occasionally as it cooks and add more liquid if needed. Serve on hamburger buns.
