Nothing says March Madness like these basketball sugar cookies that are quick and easy to make. Slam-Dunk Cookies are a fun and delicious dessert for everyone!

- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix butter and sugar. Add vanilla.
- Gradually add flour.
- Roll dough flat (about 1/8” thick) and use cookie cutters.
- Bake for 11-15 minutes. Cool on cooling rack.
- While the cookies bake, place the chocolate chips into a microwave-safe bowl.
- Microwave the chocolate chips on medium for 1 minute, then give it a stir.
- Keep heating the chocolate chips for 15-second intervals, stirring in between until almost melted.
- Remove the chocolate chips from the microwave and keep stirring until it’s smooth.
- Place the melted chocolate and orange royal icing in to separate piping bags.
- Squeeze the orange royal icing around the edge of the cookies, let sit for 2 minutes.
- Fill the inside of the cookies with the orange royal icing, then smooth and even out icing.
- Let the icing dry completely.
- Using the melted chocolate, squeeze the black lines to the basketball.
- Let icing dry completely and serve with milk.
