Chicken and dumplings area cold weather staple in the South. Try this slow cooked version of one of our favorite stick-to-your-bones meals.
- Place the chicken, butter, soup, and vegetables in a slow cooker, and fill with enough water to cover all the ingredients.
- Cover, and cook for 5 to 6 hours on High.
- In the last 30 minutes of cooking, tear the biscuits into smaller pieces. Place the torn biscuit dough in the slow cooker and cook until the dough is no longer raw in the center.
