In a large skillet over medium heat, brown bacon and ground beef.
In a slow cooker, combine beans, diced tomatoes, salsa, onion garlic and spices. Add cooked meat, and stir to combine.
- Cook in slow cooker on HIGH for 1 hour. Reduce heat to LOW and cook an additional six hours.
- Serve warm topped with shredded cheddar, scallions and sour cream.
