- In a medium bowl, mix ground beef, bread crumbs and egg. Use your hands to shape into 12 meatballs.
- Place the meatballs in slow cooker and pour the sauce over meatballs. Cover the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours or HIGH for 4 to 6 hours. Mix in cheese and cook covered for an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve in Italian rolls, top with Parmesan cheese if desired.
