  1. In a medium bowl, mix ground beef, bread crumbs and egg. Use your hands to shape into 12 meatballs.
  2. Place the meatballs in slow cooker and pour the sauce over meatballs. Cover the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours or HIGH for 4 to 6 hours. Mix in cheese and cook covered for an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve in Italian rolls, top with Parmesan cheese if desired.
