Slow Cooker Tortellini Bake

Select ingredients:


  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  2. Add the ground beef and cook for 5-7 minutes or until the meat is no longer pink. Drain the excess liquid.
  3. Transfer the meat mixture to the slow cooker and add the crushed tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, Parmesan cheese and 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese. Stir to combine.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Stir in the tortellini and sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of mozzarella cheese on top. Cover and cook for 20 minutes or until tender. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Recipe Tip: For extra flavor, use a combination of ground beef and ground Italian sausage!
