  2. Add the frozen lima beans, the frozen corn, and the water. Bring to a boil, reduce to simmer. Add the salt, pepper, basil, cinnamon, chives, garlic powder, and sugar. Simmer until the liquid is reduced and the vegetables are tender and thoroughly heated, approximately 30 minutes.
