The blend of spices really bring out the flavor of the salmon.
- Pre heat the oven at 350°.
In a small coffee mug, combine 2 tablespoons cinnamon, 1 teaspoon nutmeg, 1 teaspoon cumin, 1 teaspoon oregano, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1 teaspoon brown sugar, and 2 tablespoons basil; mix with a small spoon.
In a small, flat bowl whisk ¼ cup lemon juice with ¼ cup balsamic olive oil; soak salmon steaks.
Take a spoon full in your hand and spread (like a dry rub) on the salmon.
Create a foil pack by folding the four corners into a square and enclose the salmon.
