The fastest way to get your veggies is in a smoothie. And fresh flavor is superior to bottled juices.To keep gingerroot on hand, wrap it tightly in aluminum foil or seal it in a small zip-top plastic bag and then freeze. When you need ginger, there' s no need to thaw. Simply use a fine grater to grate off the amount needed. Rewrap and replace immediately in the freezer. Frozen ginger will keep for up to 3 months.
