Stout & Honey Beef Roast

This delicious beef roast is the perfect addition to your Sunday supper. Easy to make and so very tasty.

  1. Place the beef roast in a roasting pan. Add the vegetables around the roast. Sprinkle the seasonings on top of the roast and vegetables. Pour the stout beer and apple cider around the roast.
  2. Cover the pan with aluminum foil. Cook in a preheated 350 degree oven for 3 to 3 1/2 hours, or until the beef and vegetables are tender.
  3. To make the gravy, dissolve the cornstarch in the warm water, stirring with a spoon. Add the cornstarch mixture to the meat juices in a saucepan or shallow pan and whisk together over medium to high heat. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer, continuing to stir until slightly thickened. Remove from the heat and serve with the sliced beef roast.
