Stovetop Beef Stew

If you're in the mood for a real meat-and-potatoes kind of meal, this stovetop beef stew fills the bill.

  1. Heat oil and add stew meat into frying pan. Add chopped onion. Brown until the onions soften.
  2. Add salt, pepper, butter, V8 juice, red pepper flakes, sugar, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir. Cook for approximately 1 hour.
  3. Add the potatoes and carrots. Continue to cook on medium-low until the meat and vegetables are tender, approximately another hour.
