Sweet & Sour Chicken with Stir Fry Veggies and Rice

This is a very versitle recipe. You can use any type rice, any vegetables to suit your taste. A simple delicious recipe.



  1. Put 2 tablespoons flour in oven bag and shake to coat.
  2. Add brown sugar, vinegar and 2 tablespoons soy sauce. Squeeze to blend. Place bag in 13x9x2 inch pan.
  3. Add chicken pieces, can of pineapple and green pepper. Squeeze to mix. Tie bag and cut small slit in top. Bake on center oven rack at 350 degrees for 30 - 45 minutes until chicken is tender.
  4. While baking chicken, prepare rice and set aside. In skillet, Melt 4 tablespoons butter or margarine with remaining 2 tablespoons soy sauce and garlic. Add frozen or fresh stir fry vegetables. Cover and cook on medium heat until desired tenderness.
  5. When all is done you can mix all in bowl together or serve rice first on plate, then spoon meat mixture over rice and vegetables over meat.
