Sweet Hot Plum Glazed Ham

This flavorful ham is super moist and has a sweet and spicy kick. Simple to make and will be perfect for your Easter dinner. (Note: if you cannot find plum preserves substitute seedless blackberry preserves)

  1. In a small saucepan, over medium heat, whisk together the plum preserves, orange mango juice, mustard, brown sugar, ground ginger and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes. Bring to to a boil and then reduce to a simmer. Stir until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
  2. Place the ham in a casserole dish or roasting pan. Spoon over about half of the glaze onto the ham. Bake the ham, uncovered, in a preheated 350 degree F oven for about 2 to 2 1/2 hours, or until completely warm all the way through. Continue to baste with the plum glaze, about every 20 minutes
  3. Let the ham sit for 10 minutes before carving. Serve with glazed carrots and mashed potatoes.
