Tangy Creamed Spinach with Crispy Shrimp

Creamed spinach is one of those dishes most people probably associate with a juicy steak. But it's actually a great accompaniment to crispy, juicy shrimp too. The tartness of the fresh grated lemon zest, combined with cream, butter and fresh spinach can't be beat. This is a good choice for people trying to pack a little more spinach into their diets, but want it to taste amazing.

  1. Roll shrimp in mixture of Tony Chachere’s Cajun seasoning and flour. Pan sear shrimp in butter until crispy.
  2. Melt butter in separate pan and add cream. Slowly add flour until mixture thickens. Add fresh spinach and cook until wilted.
  3. Squeeze lemon juice and freshly grated lemon zest. Spoon onto plate and garnish with cooked shrimp. Serve immediately.
