Get ready to get the grill out for some backyard tailgating with your family! Our Chili Cheese Brats recipe is the perfect dish to eat before game time. And although sports may not look quite the same this year, you can still enjoy a classic tailgating dish, but with a little twist. Made with smoked bratwursts, chili, beans, corn, onion and two types of cheese, this recipe scores with big flavor! And it only takes a total of 15 minutes to make, which makes it a real touchdown for any busy parent.
Ingredients
Directions
- Preheat grill on medium-high with the lid closed for 10 to 15 minutes. Meanwhile, in a medium-size bowl, heat chili according to package directions. Add corn, Kerrygold cheese, red pepper, and garlic powder, stirring until combined and the cheese is melted.
- Open lid and reduce grill temperature to medium. Grill bratwursts 7 to 9 minutes, until heated through. Place in buns and top with hot chili, then shredded cheddar cheese.
Recipe Tip: Save the leftover Bush’s® baked beans that you don’t use in your chili and serve that on the side for a complete meal! Grilled bell peppers and onions would also pair well with this game-worthy recipe.
