Ingredients
Directions
- In a small bowl, combine the beef with the salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Shape the beef into 4 small slider-sized hamburger patties, suitably sized to match the tomatoes.
- On a medium-high grill, cook the hamburger patties until done (approximately 3 to 5 minutes per side). (A meat thermometer inserted in the center of the hamburger should reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.)
- To assemble the tomato bun sliders: Cut each tomato (horizontally) into equal halves. Take a paper towel and carefully dry the cut sides of the tomatoes—this will help the mayonnaise stick a bit better.
- Place the desired amount of mayonnaise on the bottom half of the tomato. Add the leaf lettuce, then a hamburger patty, then the shredded cheese, and the diced pickles. Top with the second half of the tomato.
- Run a long toothpick through the entire thing to hold everything together.
- Repeat until you've made 4 sliders.
