- In a small bowl, combine the thyme, oregano, salt, pepper, and parsley. Coat the trout filets with the herbs.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and saute the garlic for a couple of minutes.
- Add the trout filets to the skillet with the garlic. Cook for approximately 5 minutes on medium, or until lightly browned. Flip the filets and continue cooking on medium heat for another 3 minutes or so. Continue cooking until the meat is flaky and cooked through completely.
- Remove the filets from the skillet and set aside for a moment. Place the remaining butter, lemon juice, sliced lemons, and the rest of the fresh parsley in the skillet. Heat for a couple of minutes until the ingredients are hot and bubbly. Add the filets back into the skillet and spoon the lemon sauce on top of the filets. Cook for another minute or so until everything is well coated.
