Turkey & String Pot Pie

Discover a great way to use Thanksgiving leftover turkey, vegetables, and mashed potatoes served in a delicious flaky crust.

Directions

  1. Gather turkey dinner leftovers.
  2. Line a 9-inch pie plate with dough or cut pie dough into 4 equal pieces for 2 casseroles. Layer 2 pieces in each casserole.
  3. Prick dough with a fork to prevent bubbling.
  4. Mix together turkey, cooked vegetables. Add to pie shell.
  5. Top with mashed potatoes.
  6. Bake in 350 degree oven for 10 to 15 minutes until dough edges begin to brown. Cover browned edges with foil if needed to prevent burning.
  7. Bake an additional 15 to 20 minutes until dough is flaky and completely baked and filling is thoroughly heated and top is browned. Serve with gravy if desired.
