Who says you have to wait for Thanksgiving to enjoy a hearty helping of stuffing? This classic Americana dish pairs beautifully any time of year with any protein. And here's a fun idea: this stuffing makes boring breakfasts a thing of the past and is a great way to take advantage of leftovers. Just fry a couple of eggs and place atop a slice of stuffing. Top it all off with Hollandaise sauce and watch the sparks fly at your table.

  1. In a pan, brown butter and add chopped shallots. Cook until translucent but do not allow shallots to become brown. Finely chop parsley, celery and set aside.
  2. Boil chicken broth and mix with staffing based on the size of prepared staffing per directions on package.
  3. Mix moist stuffing, celery, celery seeds, translucent shallots along with brown butter, parsley, salt and pepper together in a baking dish. Bake at 350° until top of staffing is slightly golden. Do not overcook or stuffing will dry out.
  4. Spoon onto plates and serve.
