Who says you have to wait for Thanksgiving to enjoy turkey stuffing? This satisfying side dish sets the tone for a rib-sticking meal and will have everyone coming back for seconds.

  1. Place the butter in a large Dutch oven and saute the vegetables for at least 5 minutes. Add the walnuts, apple, raisins, parsley, poultry seasoning, and chicken stock and mix thoroughly.
