Turtle Candy

Makes 6 "turtles"
These delicious turtle candies combine the infinitely incredible trio of chocolate, caramel, and pecans.



  1. Spread waxed paper on a baking sheet, then arrange the pecans into six groups of four pecans each. Each pecan is a "turtle’s leg," so arrange them accordingly.
  2. Unwrap each of the caramels and place in a small saucepan with 1 tablespoon of water; then heat over low-medium heat, stirring constantly until the caramels are melted.
  3. Spoon one large spoonful of melted caramel into the center of each group of pecans to begin creating the body of the turtle.
  4. In a small bowl, microwave the chocolate chips until they are melted. As with the caramels, spoon one large spoonful of chocolate on top of the caramel.
  5. Allow the turtle candies to cool completely, or pop in the refrigerator to accelerate the hardening. Allow to return to room temperature before eating.
