- Reserving coffee; Mix All other ingredients together (you can measure all dry ingredients into a bowl, give a quick whisk together, then add milk as you use your mixer to blend well together). Mix until Smooth and Fluffy. Mix in coffee last.
- Place into a greased, floured cake pan, preferably a rectangular 9x13.
- Bake at 350 until done---remember this is a Southern recipe, that means until the knife inserted comes out clean, lol--approximately 20-25 minutes.
- Top with either cream cheese icing---or you can top with fresh berries and whipped cream--great Independence Day dessert as pictured.
