Very Veggie Salsa

This easy salsa makes a great veggie-filled side dish or as a salsa to be served with your favorite chips.

  1. Begin sautéing the onions in butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat (approximately 5 minutes), stirring frequently.
  2. Add the peppers, tomatoes, and corn, along with the water. Reduce to medium heat and cook for approximately 10 minutes; continue to stir frequently.
  3. Add the ketchup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, oregano, cumin, and chives.
  4. Continue cooking until the liquid is reduced and the salsa has thickened.
  5. Serve warm.
